Mission Statement: To encourage and empower our fellow congregants to see the face of Christ in all persons and to put forth into action by serving those in need.
At St. Paul’s we have developed a noteworthy focus on serving the hungry in Chillicothe by taking Jesus’ commandment to heart by caring for those in need. We have an active feeding ministry that donates non-perishable food, in cooperation with our local Kroger and Wal-Mart stores, who provide fresh fruit and vegetables as well as eggs and milk, to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry of Ross County.
On the second Sunday of the month our caring, generous parishioners donate food that is delivered to Good Sam on a regular basis. In our effort we are helping to create a more efficient and effective food bank that delivers more nutritious food to individuals and families in need, while raising awareness of hunger in Chillicothe. The key to the success of the program is the caring people of St. Paul’s.
