St. Anne’s Guild

St. Anne was the mother of the virgin Mary and the grandmother of Jesus.  She is considered a patron saint for healing and comfort.

Membership in St. Anne’s Guild is open to all women of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

They meet every third Tuesday of the month from September through May.  A meeting was held in November and a Christmas luncheon was held at the Chillicothe Country Club.  In the spring they travelled to Bainbridge for a luncheon meeting at the McKell farm.

One of our projects was to clean up and plant flowers in the church yard.  Janelle Thompson and Patsy and Don Pollock participated.

St. Anne’s Guild supports church activities by donating money to help with Fifth Sunday Brunches.  We also purchased the flowers for the Choir Appreciation Tea.  We are still collecting receipts from purchases at Sack and Save.  This helps to provide funds for our projects.
